Darien Day at the Stamford Symphony

Approximately 250 students, parents and staff from the Darien Public Schools attended a Stamford Symphony Concert on Sunday, October 14 at the Palace Theater in Stamford. Above, Stamford Symphony conductor Edward Cumming and clarinet soloist, Pavel Vinnitsky speak to our students and their parents in a pre-concert session for children.

The Stamford Symphony opened their season on October 14th with a tribute to Leonard Bernstein at 100. The program featuring the music American composers. The program feature the music of Joan Tower, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin and the Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein.
